Nasolabial folds (NLF’s) – these are the folds that go from the corners of the nose toward the corners of the mouth. These are referred to a “parentheses” in the picture above.
Vertical lip lines – these are the lines that develop around the mouth and are often referred to as smoker’s lines.
Corner lines – these refer to the small lines that develop at the corners of the mouth.
Marionette lines – also called melolabial or melomental folds – these are the folds that go from the corners of the mouth down toward the jaw.
